Pay10 Services Private Limited (formerly known as Bhartipay Services Private Limited), “Pay10”, is committed to protecting the privacy of your information. This Privacy Policy describes Pay10's privacy practices for its website.

By visiting the Website, or its corresponding application, or using the products and services provided by Pay10, either directly or indirectly, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy, having read and understood the contents. Through your current, past, or future usage of the Website, Application, and the products and services offered by Pay10, whether directly or indirectly, you explicitly consent to the use and sharing of your personal information and sensitive personal information submitted to us in compliance with this Privacy Policy. Additionally, you recognise and agree that this consent applies to your personal information submitted to us, whether directly or indirectly, in the past.

By using the Pay10 products and services via the Pay10 website and its corresponding application, you hereby give your consent to Pay10 to collect data related to Aadhaar-based authentication (Aadhar eKYC) or verification (Aadhar OKYC) services offered by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), in order to check, verify, download, obtain, upload, or update KYC details from the Central KYC Registry (CERSAI), as well as to collect data from Digilocker provided by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

1 - Website

This Privacy Policy covers the information practices of: www.Pay10.in and its corresponding applications.

This Policy applies to all visitors, users, customers, and others who interact with our website www.Pay10.in, mobile application, APIs, and other services (collectively, the “Services”).

2 - Information Collected & Use

Pay10 offers a variety of services that are collectively referred to as the "Services". Pay10 collects information from individuals who visit the websites and its corresponding applications ("Visitors") and individuals who register to use the Services ("Customers"). Pay10 is committed to protecting your data and complying to all appropriate legislation. This document details:

Notwithstanding any other provision in this Privacy Policy, you agree that Pay10 shall be entitled to use and disclose any data, information, and feedback arising from your use of the Service, subject to such data being anonymized and such use and disclosure being in compliance with applicable Privacy Laws.

2.1 - What personal information we collect?

Pay10 collects selected personal information when you register with us, request information, or when you use Pay10 products or services. When you register or request information we request the following:

  • First and Last Names
  • Contact email address
  • Mobile Number
  • Contact List
  • Company Name (if applicable)
  • Industry(if applicable)
  • KYC Details (for registering and accessing the Pay10 products)

As you use our products and services, we may also request additional information in order to deliver the product or services. We will also collect payment information, e.g., your credit card number and billing address. If you visit our website(s) or their corresponding applications, we also record information about the browser, device type, browser type, and language, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, and geographic data associated with the IP address, etc. Other data, as you choose to upload into the Pay10 product(s),

2.2 - Why and how do we use the information?

The information collected as described above is used to:

  • Mobile number : we use your number to login and identify you for providing our products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver services or product you've requested.
  • Create user profiles and give you access to our range of products and services
  • For billing and invoicing purposes
  • Operating our internal operations, systems, products, and services
  • Understanding user experience with a view to enhance the user experience of our services and products.
  • Provide customer support related to our services and products.
  • Send service-related information associated with our products and services, including confirmation but not limited to of actions taken (e.g. change of password), invoices raised, updates and enhancements, security alerts plus support and administrative messages
  • Updates about promotions, upcoming events, and news about products and services
  • Contact List - For showing drop down menu of users at the time of transferring money or recharging.

In addition, data that is uploaded by the user (either directly by the user using CSV, Google Sheets or via an authenticated API connection) is used to derive KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). These KPIs are either predefined by Pay10 or defined by the end user.

“Pay10” application uses the below mentioned device-level permissions:

12 Access_Network_State Ensures that network-dependent features function properly and helps avoid transaction failures due to lack of connectivity. Allows the app to check if the device is connected to a network (Wi-Fi or mobile data) before initiating transactions or performing online operations.
13 Receive_Boot_Completed Ensures that user-scheduled notifications and reminders remain active and functional even after a device restart. Allows the app to automatically restart notifications, reminders, or background tasks after the device is rebooted.
14 Access_Network_State Ensures that the device is online before making transactions. Allows the app to check the network connectivity status of the device to determine whether an internet connection is available before initiating online transactions or data transfers.
15 Vibrate Provides haptic alerts for transactions and OTP prompts. To access the device's vibration function to provide haptic feedback for transaction notifications and OTP(One-Time Password) prompts, enhancing the user experience by delivering tactile alerts.

Note:

All the above-mentioned details are accessed only to facilitate the mentioned purposes. Pay10 does not store or use the same for any other purpose. Access to permission can be managed by the user directly via device settings.

2.3 - With whom do we share the information?

We may share your personal data with service providers we hire to perform services on our behalf, for example generation of invoices and bills. These service providers do not have the right to use your data for their own purposes.

Pay10 does not rent, sell, or share data about you with other people or non-affiliated companies.

From time to time, Pay10 may partner with other companies to jointly offer products or services. If you purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly-offered product or service from Pay10, it may share Data about Pay10 Customers collected by Pay10, in connection with your purchase or expression of interest, with our joint promotion partner(s). Pay10 does not control our business partners' use of the Data about Pay10 Customers we collect, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies. If you do not wish for your information to be shared in this manner, you may opt not to purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly offered product or service.

Pay10 shall be entitled to use any data, information, and feedback arising from your use of the Service, subject to the use of the data arising from your use of the Service being anonymized and in compliance with applicable Privacy Laws.

Pay10 reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if Pay10 reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect Pay10's rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

2.4 - Your rights relating to the data we collect?

You can exercise the following rights, with regard to the data information provided by you:

  1. Right to Access Information- You are entitled to access details about which categories of personal data are being processed, the nature of the processing activities, and the third parties with whom this data is shared.
  2. Right to Correction and Deletion- You have the right to request corrections to your personal data if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Additionally, you can request the deletion of your personal data under certain conditions, such as when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or if you withdraw your consent. This right guarantees that the data held by Pay10 remains accurate and current.
  3. Right to Grievance Redressal- You possess the right to utilize grievance redressal mechanisms for any issues or concerns regarding the handling of your personal data. You can refer to the Pay10 Customer Grievances Policy to learn about the process for raising any disputes.
  4. Right to Nominate- You have the right to designate another individual to advocate for your data protection rights in the event of your death or incapacity. This right ensures that your personal data is managed according to your preferences, even if you are unable to do so personally. It allows you to appoint a trusted individual to manage or control access to your personal data.

2.5 Minors

Pay10 does not intentionally collect, use, or disclose personal information (including sensitive personal information) of minors without obtaining prior consent from their parents or guardians. The services provided by Pay10 are not designed or intended for minor audiences.

If we discover that we have collected personal information (including sensitive personal information) from a minor without first obtaining verifiable parental consent, we will take action to manage the information in a manner consistent with applicable laws as promptly as possible.

2.6 Data Retention

Pay10 may retain your personal Information (including sensitive personal Information) for the duration necessary and permitted by applicable laws to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. The duration for which Pay10 holds personal Information (including sensitive personal Information) is determined by compliance with legal requirements (contractual, statutory, or regulatory), accounting, and compliance reporting obligations.

3. Website Navigational Information

Pay10 uses commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons, to collect information as you navigate the Company's Website and its corresponding applications("Website Navigational Information"). This section describes the types of Website Navigational Information that may be collected on the company's Website and how this information may be used.

3.1 Cookies

Pay10 uses cookies to make interactions with the Company's website easy and meaningful. When you visit the Company's Website and its corresponding application, Pay10 ‘s servers send a cookie to your device. Standing alone, cookies do not personally identify you. They merely recognise your Web browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to Pay10 either by responding to a promotional offer, opening an account, or filling out a Web form (such as a "Contact Me"), you remain anonymous to Pay10. If you have chosen to identify yourself to Pay10, it uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow Pay10 to uniquely identify you. Each time you log into the Services, a session cookie containing an encrypted, unique identifier that is tied to your account is placed your browser. These session cookies allow Pay10 to uniquely identify you when you are logged into the Services and to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies are required to use the Services.

Pay10 uses persistent cookies that only Pay10 can read and use to identify browsers that have previously visited the Group's website or its corresponding applications. When you purchase the Services or provide Pay10 with personal information, a unique identifier is assigned you. This unique identifier is associated with a persistent cookie that Pay10 places on your Web browser. Pay10 is especially careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, Pay10 does not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. If you disable your Web browser's ability to accept cookies, you will be able to navigate Pay10’s Website, but you will not be able to successfully use the Services.

Pay10 may use information from session and persistent cookies in combination with Data about Pay10 Customers to provide you with information about the Company and the Services.

3.2 Web Beacons

Pay10 uses web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about Customers and Visitors' usage of Pay10’s Website and its corresponding applications and interaction with emails from Pay10. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular website tied to the Web beacon, and a description of a Website tied to the Web beacon. For example, Pay10 may place web beacons in marketing emails that notify Pay10 when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of the Pay10’s website or its corresponding application. Pay10 uses web beacons to operate and improve the Pay10’s website and email communications.

Pay10 may use information from web beacons in combination with Data about Pay10 Customers to provide you with information about Pay10 and the Services.

3.3 Flash Cookies

May use local shared objects, also known as flash cookies, to store your preferences or display content based upon what you view on our site to personalise your visit. Third parties, with whom Pay10 partners to provide certain features on our site or to display advertising based upon Pay10 your Web browsing activity, use flash cookies to collect and store information.

Flash cookies are different from browser cookies because of the amount of, type of, and how data is stored. Cookie management tools provided by your browser will not remove flash cookies.

3.4 IP Addresses

When you visit Pay10 ‘s website or its corresponding applications, Pay10 collects your Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, Pay10 uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which Customers and Visitors navigate Pay10’s website.

3.5 Third Party Cookies

From time-to-time, Pay10 engages third parties to track and analyses usage and volume statistical information from individuals who visit Pay10’s website and its corresponding applications. Pay10 may also use other third-party cookies to track the performance of Pay10’s advertisements. The information provided to third parties does not include personal information, but this information may be re-associated with personal information after Pay10 receives it.

Pay10 may also contract with third-party advertising networks that collect IP addresses and other Website Navigational Information on Pay10’s website and emails and on third-party Websites. Ad networks follow your online activities over time by collecting Website Navigational Information through automated means, including through the use of cookies. They use this information to provide advertisements about products and services tailored to your interests. You may see these advertisements on other websites. This process also helps us manage and track the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.

Our website and its corresponding applications may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that Pay10 does not have any control over that other website. Therefore, Pay10 cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy policy. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy policy applicable to the website in question.

4. Public Forums and Customer Testimonials

Pay10 may provide bulletin boards, blogs, on the Group's website and its corresponding applications. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. Pay10 is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.

Pay10 may post a list of Customers and testimonials on the Pay10’s website and its corresponding application that contains information such as Customer names and titles. Pay10 obtains the consent of each Customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.

5. International Transfer of Information Collected

To facilitate Pay10’s global operations, Pay10 may transfer and access Data about Pay10 Customers from around the world as applicable under law. This Privacy policy shall apply even if Pay10 transfers Data about Pay10 Customers to other countries.

6. Communications Preferences

Pay10 offers Customers and Visitors who provide contact information a means to choose how Pay10 uses the information provided. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link located on the bottom of the Pay10’s marketing emails. Additionally, you may send a request specifying your communications preferences to marketing@pay10.in . Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their account with Pay10 or the Services.

7. Security

Pay10 uses appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect Data about Pay10 Customers.

Card Holder's Data Security Policy

The security of card information shared by the Customers is of paramount importance for Pay10. Stringent security measures are implemented while designing the Pay10's payment processing mechanism, to safeguard the privacy of the information shared by the Customers. In order to achieve complete protection to card details of the Customers, Pay10 maintains the compliance with the guidelines issued by PCI, NPCI-Rupay, RBI, Visa “Account Information Security Programme” and the MasterCard “Site Data Protection Programme” and any other similar program as stipulated by the Card Schemes and any changes to those programmes and standards which may occur from time to time.

The Customer Card credentials such as debit card/ credit card number, bank account number etc. are not accessible to Pay10 as Pay10 uses the card tokenization services for processing the transactions in compliance to RBI circulars CO.DPSS.POLC.No.S-516/02-14-003/2021-22 dated September 07, 2021 pertaining to Tokenisation – Card Transactions: Permitting Card-on-File Tokenisation (CoFT) Services and CO.DPSS.POLC.No.S-760/02-14-003/2022-23 dated July 28, 2022 pertaining to Restriction on Storage of Actual Card Data [i.e. Card-on-File (CoF)]; therefore, the Pay10 neither stores nor share the card details to any third party.

Additionally, the Pay10 maintains relevant policies to protect the personal information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure which are reviewed from time to time, in order to improve the security of information shared by the Customers and regular audits are conducted by Pay10 to ensure compliance with Payments Card Information Security Standard Council (PCI) in respect of protecting card data.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy might be modified or updated periodically. The latest version of this Privacy Policy can be found on the Website and Application.

We encourage you to check this page regularly to remain informed about any updates to this Privacy Policy. By continuing to use our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy in its updated form. If you do not accept this amended Privacy Policy, you need to cease using our services and inform us.

Any personal information (including sensitive personal information) we possess about you should be current and accurate. Please notify us promptly of any changes to your Personal Information (including sensitive personal information).
